THE ATHLETIC FIELD: MLK HIGH SCHOOL field dedication to Coach martin Jacobson
Martin Luther King, Jr. High School in New York City in its decade’s long history has never had any outdoor playing surface for sports and physical education. After initially securing a $300,000 grant in 2015, Coach Jake was able to get additional funding from the city and the small turf field project was completed in 2020 and dedicated on Sept 17th, 2021!
On January 18th, 2023, the field was officially dedicated to Coach Jake to recognize his many years of service and commitment to the team and the Martin Luther King Jr. Educational campus.

MLK Jr High School Futsal Field Dedication

After many years, a lot of advocating and persistence, we finally completed and dedicated the new Futsal field at the MLK Jr Educational Campus in Upper West Side Manhattan!

A completed screenplay is being developed into a full length feature film on the life of Coach Jake and some of his players.

KICK IT FORWARD MENTORING/TUTORING PROGRAM
The Coach Jake Foundation through Kickitforward.com provides mentoring and tutoring to at risk youth. We also provide youth and their families through our Kick it Forward Project with resources that provide opportunities for improving their lives.
KICKITFORWARD.COM raises funds through the sale of products to assist in implementing our Coach Jake Foundation charitable causes.
